Hello all!
I suppose you’ve all read John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress, the second most read book in the world (second only to the Bible itself). Well, there is a movie adaption of it coming out in 700+ theaters this Easter!
It is made in CGI animation, and has been endorsed by people like: Ray Comfort, Dr. James Dobson, and Tim Wildmon.
Here is the trailer to it.
I highly recommend this movie, and I think that everyone should watch it, you can go to pilgrims.movie/theaters to see where it is playing near you.
Have a blessed Saturday!
-Elijah
That’s great news! Hopefully God will use this to bring some of His Elect to Him!!

You could probably watch it when it comes out on DVD. I heard that they are translating it into about 47 languages, so hopefully one of those will be Japanese!

Oh, sorry, I must be mistaken… I only checked the official movie website. Keep us posted! 🙂

Oh, OK! Then there’s a chance of there being a Japanese translation, which I hope!

They are even getting the movie out to countries where it is hard or illegal to be a Christian.

I was mentioning your company/Pilgrim’s Progress movie to my husband and he told me he was “coincidently” rereading it at night (there IS no coincidence with God!) I hope to send out notices to our friends with 14 children and other friends who home school. I hope it will show on my Facebook page but sadly hasn’t yet) and you don’t currently have a “reblog” link or did I miss it?

We actually didn’t make the movie, we’re just helping to get the word out about it.
Yes, there are no coincidences with God!
I can see the reblog button, is it there now?

Yeah, that was a blonde moment and I see it now – but am still having a challenge trying to post the reblog. ( Don’t understand why but perhaps it’s because I’ve been on sabbatical for 5 months as we moved.) I’ll keep trying. 🙂

We all make mistakes! Sorry about the reblog, I don’t really know how to fix that.

Did you watch the new Pilgrim’s Progress movie yet?

Yes, I watched it on the 20th with my family. My whole family really enjoyed it! I think it is a great story, and they did a great job putting it into the film!

Wow! That’s really nice! I hope it will be in Japanese someday!
Was it basically the same as the book? Or did they change some things?

They had to take out quite a few things, just to fit it all into 2 hours. But yes, it’s basically the same as the book.

Wow! That’s insane!
I mean…Awesome! But, it looks like it might be pirated, so you better go watch it before they take it down! Or, just download it. 😉 I just downloaded it.
That’s cool that you’ll get to watch it now!

We just watched 1 hour 11 minutes and 11 seconds of the movie!! I love it already, and I think it is one of the best movies I have ever watched!! (It’s just too bad that that dumb music drowned out some of Kristyn Getty’s words at the beginning…) 🙂
Thank you, Elijah, for letting us know about the movie in the first place!! We’re looking forward to watching the movie to the end!

Wow! 1:11:11!
That is dumb! I wonder why the person that put it up on Youtube put that music is in there.
That’s great that you can watch the film now!

Yes!!! I’m very happy that we can watch the film!! We just finished watching the movie, and it was great! My favorite scene was when Christian looked to the cross and had his burden of sin taken away! What was your favorite scene?

Awesome!
My favorite scene is the part at Salvation Hill as well! 🙂 My second favorite scene is when Evangelist says: “Don’t waist anymore time. Run!”
John Rhys-Davies has an amazing voice!

I agree! Yes, he has a good voice! I really like Evangelist!! He reminds me of John Bunyan. 🙂
Also I really like the Christian vs. Apollyon scene… and Goodwill’s “Helki the Rod” scene! Ha-ha! 🙂

Haha! Yes, Goodwill is kind of like Helki! 🙂

🙂 Well, the link doesn’t work anymore because… the video got deleted!!! 😦 But taking your wise advice, we were able to watch it! It was a close call though! 🙂
There’s also a 3-part version on YouTube!

Saw the movie in theaters and thought they did a good job! Very well done. My only wish is that they did not have to take so much of the original content out!
BTW, on August 25th and 26th the filmmakers who created the movie will be hosting FREE, online live streams of the movie. Here is a link to the page where you can sign up to watch the movie: https://www.pilgrims.movie/live-event-201908/?_source_code=Pmovie.

Yea, I guess that had to do that to fit it into an hour and a half.
Thank you for letting me know about the free hosting! I will look into it.
God bless!
